Table Rummy Pinoy is a card-matching table game where your goal each round is to form complete sets — three or four cards of the same rank — and sequences, which are three or more consecutive cards of the same suit. Each hand begins with a card draw phase; you pick from the deck or the discard pile, then discard one card to close your turn. The round ends when one player lays down a complete hand, and remaining cards in other hands are counted against their scores. Leaving a round mid-hand forfeits the current stake for that hand only — your remaining wallet balance is unaffected. You can return to the same table and stake level immediately. A meld is a valid combination of cards laid on the table — either a set of three or four same-rank cards, or a sequence of three or more consecutive cards in one suit. Melds form the winning hand.
Going out means a player has formed all their cards into valid melds and lays them down to end the round. When a player goes out, remaining cards in opponents' hands are scored against those players immediately.
The discard pile is the face-up stack of cards players have discarded during their turns. On your turn you may pick up only the top card of this pile instead of drawing from the face-down deck.
Deadwood refers to unmatched cards remaining in a player's hand when the round ends. Their point values are totalled and counted against that player's score for the hand.
A sequence is three or more cards of the same suit arranged in consecutive rank order — for example, four, five and six of hearts. It is one of the two valid meld types accepted when declaring a complete hand.
